Rachael's Ride - Ridden?? Hell yeah!

Rachael's Ride

Rachael's 1972 Triumph TR6R custom chop.  This bike was built by owner from a project bought from a friend, it came in as a custom  frame with plunger suspension, the engine, wheels, front end, and boxes of parts. The frame was hardtailed and shortened by4", the Yamaha forks reduced by 6". Since completion it has been ridden thousands of miles, including to London, Brighton, Warwickshire, and most recently, in April 2012, a trip to Belgium via Eurotunnel, a round trip of over 650 miles.  This bike is not just for show, it is regularly ridden.  Yes, that bare stainless seat is more comfortable than it looks, and No, I don't put a sneaky bit of padding on it!  The engine is a 1972 TR6, the same as the 650 Bonnie but single carb.  It leaks a bit of oil (well it is 40 years old) but it has plenty of "go" in it and cruises nicely at around 70.
